Kalki 2898-AD (2024) Hindi 720p Full Movie: A modern-day avatar of Vishnu, a Hindu god, who is believed to have descended to earth to protect the world from evil forces.
During the Kurukshetra war Ashwatthama is cursed by lord Krishna to attain immortality and witness humanity during Kalyug.His redemption can occur by protecting mother of Kalki the last reincarnation of Lord Vishnu. Six thousand years later in the futuristic world deserted city of Kasi is ruled by an evil Yaskin.His complex is run by Commander Manas whose team is working on Project K for Yaskin.They capture fertile women and their serum is used to increase life of Yaskin but hardly any female survive beyond 120 days of fertility.Sum 80 (Sumati) suppresses 150 days and is about to meet the same faith as others.But manages to elope with help of few rebels,Ashwatthama realizes that Sumati is the woman he is there to protect and comes to her aid.Yaskin and Manas are desperate to find Sumati but Ashwatthama stands between them. Right off the bat, I will say that the plot was superbly established, it made you feel the stakes. The main storyline originates from the Mahabharata so the creators really needed to push the boundaries on the execution, which I can say that they did but were they able to pull it off extraordinarily or were there shortcomings? Read on to find out.I have attempted to break down my thoughts of each major field without giving any spoilers or too much negative connotations.Dialogues:Not much to say about these, they are what you would expect from a sci-fi flick (some hi-fi English vocabulary paired with the modern Hindi), and the archaic style Hindi (Sanksritised) that is generally seen in the adaptations of Hindu epics.Characters:I am sorry to say but the chemistry between is Bhairava & Bujji was almost non-existent. They did talk about stuff other than bounties and work but the final result was too many puns and attempts to make the audience laugh which left nothing to be established between them.
